Today I let one tear spill, no one saw it fall. I wiped it quickly away, not a trace of it at all. I held back a mighty river, with only a fragile heart. I bravely held on to it, right from the very start. One tiny tear escaped today, full of hidden sorrow. It trickled only a little way, checked until tomorrow. |

There is much feeling in your poem. Living long means holding back a lotof tears. Love, Joyce |

I love this. Holding back and not allowing anyone to see your emotions. There is a strength in the midst of sadness. |

Thank you Joyce, PK and Pat, I felt this very way today and I think I just needed to let it pour on to the page. I am glad it touched you all the way it did. Hugs from June x |
