I Love You More A poet once penned immortal ways to count sweet love. Song weavers have listened and wove the ways into verse and rhyme. Love, sweet love has shimmered like light on distant shore. With sweet love our guidance man has touched the divine! Yet in all these expressions, these moments there is one unopened, never opened door. Tis the ways I love you, my lady ‘cause with all that has been sang or wrote... I still love you more! I love you more! Yeah baby, I love you more! more than Mama’s love baked bread. more than cookies fresh from oven. more than puppies breath, or kittens kiss. more than all that’s ever been said! I love you more, oh my love! more than sails full with wind. more than mountains silver grandeur. more than any secret sin, or best friend! Yes, my darling! More than coffee in my cup. More than a feast fit for kings. I love you more than life itself. I love you my lady, more than all these things! Tramp Poet: once a scooter tramp no choice about poet... Daniel~ Hmmmmm ! I'm with Denise on that 'coffee' thang~ Sounds suspicious to me ... But ... I'll buy this with a sigh~ 'Love, sweet love has shimmered like light on distant shore. With sweet love our guidance man has touched the divine!' Delightful~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

I agree with Trillium, lucky lady. What a delightful read this morning. How upbeat Tracey If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

Tramp Poet, To identify what love is to each individual is almost impossible. You have to be there to experience it. I wrote one many years ago trying to convey my love about the everyday things. Loved your poem. Melton |
