The Hand Outstretched Was it only yesterday the dream felt so real? People falling into the abyss with nothing to grasp at. Loud cries of anguish penetrated the silent darkness, while an outstretched hand gently held me close to His heart. A calm so complete as to render me speechless, His eyes were ablaze with captivating love. "Fear not, my child, you have mountains to climb, steep though they may be, your courage will not fail. By your side I will walk with you, keeping you safe, for the road you will travel will be difficult to endure." Though many years passed and the storms have been fierce, yet I remember the dream of the outstretched hand. Never once did I falter for my faith held fast, Knowing who stood beside me and guided me along. 'When you find a dream within your heart, don't ever let it go. |

This was a very real dream I had when I was around 21 years old. During the dream, I witnessed people falling into an abyss, but a hand outstretched, held onto mine so I wouldn't fall in with the others. At that moment, I realized it was a blessing from God. And the very next day I went to a nearby church after being away for many years. I have never forgotten it, as it changed my life forever. Patricia 'When you find a dream within your heart, don't ever let it go. |
