Adelaide D’Bugge

I heard a good story, trust me, it’s true
About lightning, fire and a ladybug, too.
There once was a ladybug, quiet and shy.
Adelaide D’Bugge had a theory to try.
She twisted some lightning into a shaft
Penned out some fire; the whole time she laughed.
Her blazing white rhyme burned on the page,
And rhythmic thunder would often rage
Into a hurricane, picking up speed
Where spawns of tornadoes would then timely feed
A mixture of elements stirring the earth.
That’s how this story came to its birth.
Miss D’Bugge became well known
Everyone loved her verse and her tone.
So now she teaches poetry;
Some poems are rhymed, some verse is free.
Like the clouds in tempest form,
She’s still writing up a storm.

Dear Barb:  We have had too many of Adelaide's antics around here this year!
Hope she takes a breather soon! She even thundered on our 4th of July parade!

When Adelaide shall come around
And tend to make a stir.
I will not run I'll stay right here,
To hear some verse from her.

Love, Joyce

Dear Barb

Is Adelaide D'Bugge a 'Fire D'Bugge'?  Eh! Eh!

I liked this one.
