I was reading my e-mail one day
When 'lo and behold.. Suprise!
It seems my booth here has stayed
Though to other forums roamed my eyes

Then with a promise to come back
I thought and wrote on little notepads
But never seemed on the right track
Again, I wandered like a playing lad

But today when I opened my mail
Someone had penned a reply
To one of many fantasy tales
Written long ago by none other then I

So back to the Pub I have come
With many thoughts to share
Sitting in my corner warming my bum
Feel free to pull up your chair

There should be something in there about me telling a story when more have gathered around.. but I must admit my thoughts froze after what was written..

And when stuck with the choice between posting what I wrote.. or forgetting it altogether...

I had to post.. :p

So.. thank you Joyce

P.S.  My first ever poem posted here was entitled March Showers ( /pip/Forum27/HTML/000707.html )
Today ....

well.. that'd be better placed in another poem   Thank you all for the first warm and welcoming replies.. And .. I will be reading more of the work I've missed

hmmm... pulled up my chair and the table seems empty? where have all the poets gone?
the rest of the pub seems loud and party on.
but this table in the "lurker" corner seems quiet and perhaps empty?
lol perhaps we all are too shy to exit wallflower mode?
hugz to all as i browse the archives...
