Could Be Anywhere...

Oh my bride,
just needed to take a minute
or two or the rest of my days
to express to you how much
i appreciate you, respect you,
want you in my life and cherish you.
Oh my bride, i value you so...
the way you get up early to make coffee
making my lunch and breakfast.
we both know i can and will do these things
you do them just because, oh the love.
You come home and i am washing dishes
and the floors have been swept and mopped
i don't do these things because i have to
i just love the way you show appreciation.
Oh my bride, you are precious!
Giving from the wealth in our hearts
you have made me a rich man, my love!
Standing with you before the preacher
speaking vows ancient, covenant binding
giving of our hearts willingly, completely.
Oh my bride...how i love you!
As we snuggle together against the chill
warm and content, your head on my arm,
the kittens curled around our feet
i am flooded, overwhelmed with loving.
i carress you, kiss you, pat your bottom
move ever closer to touch you more
you sigh, respond in kind, our lips meet.
Oh my bride, i hunger for you!
love blooming like soft, morning petals
sweetly fragrant scents intoxicate,
vivid colors weaved of magical moments.
Your kisses as we calm, hearts beat as one,
our day complete and content.
Sweet dreams, warm comfort, touching
awaken near dawn with anticipation
morning blessed with first smile, cuddle
Oh my bride,
you give me joy...
