ECHOES OF NIGHT The moon caress the waters calm Like a sensitive benevolent god The fog engulfs the rocky coast And the balmy night warm as toast Unblinking stars dot the skies Awaits the dawning of a new day Sounds of night echo their tune Knowing another day breaks soon Sunrise quietly swallows the moon The fog fades into the morning dew As Ships in the Harbor set sail The city bustles and sirens wail As night engulfs the evening sun And the moonbeams hover and glow Ships are anchored at end of day The echoes of night begin to play By: Brenda H "thepassionatepoet |

Brenda: This is very pretty! Looks like you and I were both thinking about "echoes". Betty Lou Hebert |
