Oh! How I wish I were the horizon, so that our crimson lips may align; as your virgin-touch falls to my skin, my life, with your's may intertwine. I wish it were I that saw you first, and bid thee farewell to the night- that each morn' quench my thirst, in the quest for your loving sight. I pray to divinity to stand aside, as the unloving night draws near- that my heart may be purified, through love's cleansing tear. Oh!
