Spring and I Spring painted skies a glowing blue And added clouds, but just a few. She begged the trees to show some green. The tenderest I've ever seen! Her laughter rang out from the creek, Where water, free of ice, could seek A pathway to the mighty sea And ran to meet it joyfully! I felt my spirits start to fly. An eagle screamed from someplace high, To add excitement to the scene. The air smelled fresh and warm and clean! She bade the birds all sing to me A lilting, lovely symphony! The breeze blew promises all day, While spring and I went out to play! Betty Lou Hebert |

Oooh Betty this is so fun!!!  i totally enjoyed it! Spring painted skies a glowing blue And added clouds, but just a few. beautiful setting!
