Late Spring Time clocks have them stirring, Stretching little heads; Shrugging off their coverings, Struggling from their beds. Mother Earth admonishes, Resets the alarm. Too eager emergence Brings a bulb to harm. Winter weary, waiting New life to appear. On the wind a whisper, "Spring is late this year." I love the poem Joyce. Your waiting for your spring and I am waiting for my autumn. I am sweltering here. The temperature here has been ranging between 94 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. In the outback it reached 118 degrees Fahrenheit. Isobel |

Joyce; I like your poem! No sign of spring around here yet, though! Of course, you will see them before I do. Love Betty Lou Betty Lou Hebert |
