Winter Moon

The winter night was darkest when
I saw you first appear,
Trailing veils of gossamer clouds,
Down at the earth you peer.

Your light illuminates the land
And makes the shadows run,
To hide beneath the clustered trees.
Your reign had just begun.

I watched you rise to highest heights,
Then start your downward trip.
I tried to stay awake but I
Into sweet dreams did slip.

When I awoke at 5:00 a.m.
My western window shed
The full glory of your passage,
As you put yourself to bed!

Very nice, Betty.  It is cold tonight.  I can't run out to see how full the moon is.  Love, Joyce

Thanks to all of you for commenting.  We have had such cloudy skies, but on the night the moon was full, it was clear and cold, so we got to enjoy the beauty of it!

(big angel hugs) Oh Betty, this is precious, sweet friend, just this week I saw the moon still hovering in the atmosphere at eight in the morning on a cerculean blue, sunny day, it still glowed then so beautifully too! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Betty, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
