Nightlight

Daylight we are under school roof;
Nightlight we are under dark clouds.
All of sudden we see a bright star,
Sliding across the sky-

Remember the first night of Christ birth,
A star brightly guide shepherd to manger.
Tonight we both observe under the same sky;
I wonder whether we watching for the same star-

Seeking for this Christmas message
From the Lord’s Living Words,
I find that we are both sleeping
Within His secured palm-

Remembering the meaning of Christmas
Is to love the Son and our neighbors.
Tonight I miss you under starlight,
Wondering depth of our friendship.

May peace be with you.
May I a friend you never forget.
May we gather some time soon,
To catch up with yesterday, the missing.
