Tangerine Lake

The sun draws closer to the lake
Slowly advancing like a lovers kiss
Waters rippling with anticipation
Shimmer glossy reflections in return

Ink of night is swallowed in the deep
Sinking to depths untouched by the light
As dappled blue moments emerge to be seen
Andearth reflections glitter brightly

The lake warms in a sweet tangerine glow
And wind breathes sighs to shimmer it all
Kaleidoscope of dawn colors pour over all
Enhancing dreams withawakening hopes

June, I think this is beautiful. I loved the imagery.  In my opinion, it's a beatiful poem.  I think it is wonderfully crafted and sensitive, and I think it shows that you have a lot of talent.

The images here are wonderful.  I love the colors and the scents you bring to this.
