A Small Voice

While I was sitting as still as a mouse,
I heard Mommy and Daddy discussing our house.
They said I am growing, need more room to roam.
They'll pack everything and find a new home.
I wish I could talk; I would tell them what's true,
As long as they're mine, any shelter will do.
But Mommiy is happy, she's dancing with me
And Daddy is walking as proud as can be.
So I won't say a thing, I won't spoil their fun.
It makes no difference when all's said and done.
I could live in a dungeon, I could live anywhere
As long as my Mommy and Daddy are there.
