~*Marge Tindal*~ Such is the need of poetess to grace another with worded bless Spill of ink from heartfelt place finds it's way to pages' grace~ Perambulating through the path of rhyme leisured measure of small time Caught within one dip of pen to reach the heart ... of dearest friend~ *Word of the Day for Thursday September 4, 2003 perambulate puh-RAM-byuh-layt, intransitive verb- To walk about,to roam,to stroll - as, "he perambulated in the park." transitive verb- 1. To walk through or over. 2. To travel over for the purpose of surveying or inspecting. ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |

Hi Marge, I love it when you use the 'word of the day.' My vocabulary is very limited and I'm constantly pouring over the Thesaurus searching for 'other' words! When you use words that are unfamiliar to me, you are doing me a great service as it helps me build my vocabulary. Thanks for letting me perambulate through a wide variety of words. Huggles, Marti |

The word of the day is neat! I love to expand my vocab. Though you can't tell from my use of the word "neat" so much. ;-) haha Anyway, I liked this poem. I love poems about poetry and writing. How often is the desire to write just because of that desire. You know what I mean? The way we feel when we write is an inspiration and a muse in itself. |

I want to thank you all for the kindness of your lovely replies~ In case I haven't mentioned it before - I will now - I subscribe to the FREE Word-Of-The-Day from www.dictionary.com . Each word presents me with more knowledge than I had, and I use them as a creative exercise to jump-start my muses. (stop laughing .. every now and aGRIN, I need jump-starting) I write something to accompany each word, and while I may not post them all ... they still get written. It's good discipline for me ... and keeps me on me little poetic toesies~ Love sharing with each of you~ *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*When the heart grieves over what it has lost, |
