Over in a couple of months
you said.

After an eternity
of apprehension,
fear is a living thing,
dragging me into
constant despair

Your remembered smile
bringing pain
impossible to bear.

Now, the rap on the door.

Ice touches my heart as
Fingers tremble on yellow.

The final reaper takes his toll.
Possessing the soul
of a heroic man.

So sad.... Here's a shoulder should you want one...wow...sounds so hurtful. I am sorry this person is going through this.. Makes me sad. If it's you here's a and a shoulder. I just can't get over this overwhelming feeling of sorrow after reading this. I pray it gets better soon.

Thank you Shararose. No it's not me. I based it on the first world war when people received bad news in the form of a telegram. Maggie
