And when the smoke clears you wonder....What? Throw your hands up in the air, still asking "what"? Lot's of time can be spent on the whys, and time, and life is too precious for that. Marge- In response to my poem, you wrote one of your own that surpassed the original. "A wisp of whispered spirit as it dances 'cross the night~" Simply marvelous. You captured the image that affected me so much better than I did. "Ain't Got no quarrels with God, ain't got no time to grow old. Lord knows I'm weak, won't somebody get me off of this reef" |
