this road so long and body weak
a twisted journey incomplete
forever winding through my mind
elusive yet i seek to find

that special place that offers peace
to weathered souls seeking release
with pillows soft to rest my head
sweet dreamless sleep all demons dead

how can i look upon this day
sunshine filled no hint of gray
yet eyes that see the chance for rain
a heart despaired so aches with pain

unleash the joy that must exist
for those who dare for those who risk
exposing self to find the way
out of the dark in to the day

So lord I see you grinnin' must be grand always winning....AIC
