I’ve been wondering… Where do all the itches go when I scratched my arm ? Will they come back with revenge and cause more harm? I know of A[s], C [s] and of D batteries But, what ever happened to the B [s]? When I take a sip from my cup, What happened to the first 6 "ups"? I’m thankful what the scientist have done for me, But what did they do with preparations A through G? Why are green olives in jars and black ones in cans? Is this part of a secret conspiracy plan? Can oxy-morons be clearly misunderstood with silent screams? Can a twelve-ounce pound cake be eaten with diet ice cream? It bothers me if I was to commit a crime, Would silence be advised, if I were a mime? Would an environmentalist begin to chant, if an endangered animal ate an endangered plant? And when I think about life, I start to shout, What if the Hokey Pokey IS what its all about? |

This was quite clever. I liked it alot, and I'm not usually one for silly poetry. Good job. "Ain't Got no quarrels with God, ain't got no time to grow old. Lord knows I'm weak, won't somebody get me off of this reef" |

I was having a pretty rotten morning, paper work piled a mile high on my desk. Then, I stopped to read your poem and it really improved my mood. Thanks for putting things in perspective! |
