Hello everyone, its my birthday tomorrow and my son Adam who is 23 years old has just presented me with a beautiful framed poem that he wrote for me. I am so thrilled and it made me cry so i wanted to share it with you my friends. hope you dont mind. hugs from june xxxxxxxx LOVING MOTHER Since the day i was born its been plain to see That my mam has always been there for me She taught me how to tie my lace And cleaned the dirt from off my face Applying plasters when i grazed a knee Called me in when it was time for tes She never ever would let me down Even when i made others frown Working hard each and every day She always made time to talk and play So i hope one day i get to be As good a parent as she is to me For without her love i cannot say Where i'd be to this day So this i'll say ...there is no other Than someone as special as a loving mother. To a loving mother Happy birthday June 14th 2003 |
