The Meaning of Word Often heard Love begins with one word, Hurt begins with the same word, One could lost in one word, Yet do I truly know The meaning of word? Often heard Writings reflect the heart, Speeches could reveal one's flaws Or they could reveal one's wisdom, Yet do I truly know The meaning of word? How many times I have uttered words Carelessly, hurting myself? How many times I have uttered too many words That might have hurt my closest bond? And how quick are my judgements? OhEliza~ This is very good ! A serious write ... and a right write~  I have a policy of doing an automatic 10 count before rendering a response from these lips~ Sometimes it takes a 30 count ... but the method works for me. Goodness ... sometimes I think I pop off faster with my fingers on the keys than with my mouth flapping~ Thank goodness for the Drafts Folder on my email program ... it stays full ... until I go back and re-read then either see that it says what I REALLY wanted to say .... or I can hit the DELETE button ! *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
