the shadow raoming needlessly
once knowing happiness and jow
but now, he knows only regret
each mistake, each wrong he commits
becomes another link in the heavy chains of sorrow
which hang upon his body
like a cruel death sentence
fear staying his hand
when his heart bids him onward
terrified of what may come
afraid of losing what little joy and love
which comes to his lowly existence
the happiness he brings to others
the love and care he gives freely
to help the ones he cares deeply for
so that hey can bring back the joy in their live
joy that he will never possess
never once holding any happiness for himself
beliving himself unworthy if such a gift
only desiring peach above all else
but the shadow shall never find peace
in the dark world of his creation
no longer able to move
no light to guide him nor strength to move
the heavy burden he weighs upon himself
inprisoned he shall forever be
in the grave of his guilt and fear
forever to travel alone
in the hell of his own design
