You watch me tip-toe beside your chair, Secretly smiling and showing my teeth; You wonder what this little girl is up to, Then I give you a big hug and ask, "How did you learn to give? How did you learn to love? I always wish I can give, But when my brother get a large slice cake," Looking at on my toes, "I want to have that slice too!" "I want to play with the kids over there, But she always have long stories to tell. I just want to play, is that a crime?" "Grandma, can you please tell me How you learn to give, and love?" Side note: well, I'm older now, but I would also like hear from all of you, how did each of you learn to give, and love, and to enjoy giving, instead of reluctant to give. How learn to sacrifice? When and how did you learn it? Eliza Simmons |

Eliza, this is very sweet. In answer to your question about giving love etc. It is something that your heart will tell you how and when to do. Like I have said before, everything that happens in life is a lesson here on this earth school. You will be able to give love just as easily as you write your feelings so honestly here in Passions. Just don't dwell on it. It will come out of the blue. Sometimes the more we look for love and question love....it seems to hide away, and we start thinking we will never find it. Just relax and be yourself. Have fun and quit worrying. hugs, Chris "Hope" is the thing with feathers- |

Dear Eliza, I don't know exactly waht you are asking but I was a very fortunate little girl. I received so much love so it was easy to love back.I had four older brothers and they took good care of their baby sister and did not care if I got the biggest piece of cake. Mom always treated us equally so none of us had to worry about it. Love will come. My granddaughter is adopting a Chinese baby. She just received her first pictures of her and she is head over heels in love with her. Love, Joyce [This message has been edited by Joyce Johnson (04-03-2003 01:43 PM).] |
