In Reminiscence In reminiscence, In my first crush, It felt good but was brief. In reminiscence, To second crush, my best friend, It was more like Having an online friend- All was obssesion. All there wasn't love. In reminiscence, To my first ex-boyfriend, I never sacrifed. It was more like Having an attentive ear- All was gratitude. All there wasn't love. Sometimes I wonder Whether I know love. Is it possible A selfish person knows love? Sometimes when I hear Love songs ringing at night, I wonder am I Asking for too much. All I ever want Is an attentive ear. All I ever want Is someone read my peoms. All I ever wish Is someone like my voice. All I ever wish Is a friend, a company. Such friend doesn't exist, I just realizing, That no men can be friend With women without love. I'm not even sure Who I really am, What goods I possess, So who I am to claim To know love, If I don't love myself. In reminiscence, In my past I love nobody. In future, Will I grow and break from my shell? In reminiscence... (c)April 2, 2003 Eliza Simmons Eliza Simmons |

Eliza - this is a question that all young people your age ask themselves....and people my age too....lol. You can have a friend that you can love, but not be "in love" with. Does that make sense? I hope so. You just have to tell that person from the start that you love them as a friend, before you break their heart. That holds true for them as well. If they are honest, they will tell you exactly how they feel about you. Life is a series of lessons, isn't it? Well done. hugs to you, Chris "Hope" is the thing with feathers- |

thanks Chris...it could happen, but it rarely happen...to me anyway. Not easy to find someone that like to read my poem who also like my voice, who also willing to lend me an ear. True friends are hard to find, not to mention close ones. But then, sometimes I think I ask for too much and content with too little. Eliza Simmons |

We all ask perhaps more than we should. The most important thing is to give. Giving will always make you happier than getting. Love, Joyce |
