My Roller A little bit left, A little bit right, A little turn here, A little twist there, Swinging and swaying, I dance with my roller, Accompanying by drum beats Of horns and foot steps, The engine roaring. A little bit left, A little bit right, A little turn here, A little twist there, Swinging and Swaying, I dance with my roller. My roller tip-toe jump Over the curb, and Making a full turn in the air. And I travel with my roller, To south, west, north and east. (c)Mar 24, 2003 Eliza Simmons Side note: try to image it is board skating, whatever you call it....it is an equally fine picture, I think. You drew a good picture of skate boarding all though I am much too old for this sport. I was a little confused by the term roller. Joyce |

Eliza~ Instant connection to the motion~ As a lifelong artistic roller-skater, teacher and owner/manager of a roller skating center ... I STILL love the gentle motion-on-wheels~ You word-painted a vivid imagery~ Koolers, gal ! *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Eliza: This is refreshing and cute. I never did learn to roller skate, much to my regret! Sounds wonderful. Betty Lou Hebert |
