“Strike on Iraq” It’s a sunny Sunday morning in Baghdad, via CNN No longer from “correspondents at the front”, there are video-phone imbedments always ready with the news The armor will drive through my living room live, with commentary, at record speed The helpless will flow down city streets like little ships with sails coursing canyon riverbeds I could be trapped in some inexplicable dream but fear that I am not The unforeseeable was too well planned Still, my enigmatic moggy will faithfully wait for me on the landing a true black and white existence in real time w.g. © 032203 |
