How long ago
Since you
Held my hand,
Or told me
That you cared.
So many years
Have passed,
Since
The last laughter,
That we shared.
In my mind
I keep a picture,
Of the way
We used to be.
In my heart
I know,
No longer
Is there
A you

How different,the dark that scares us,
From the dark, behind our eyes,
That we hide behind to protect us

sad endings to relationships that once held such promise are well known to most of us. well done.
