ALL'S WELL

We fabricated a life
That was filled with joy and love.
We lived in a world
Of make believe.
We fooled everyone,
Our family, our friends.

Over time
As we struggled
To keep face
And to survive together,
Under a veil of lies,
We discovered
Each other,
And realized,
We were
Living in truth.


I am an enigma, even unto myself.
