Love's First Kiss

Anticipating,
Longing,
Sweet desire . . .

Feeling but not yet felt,

Our stares fixed,
On one another,
I feel your need,
My heart races,
I watch your eyes dance.
More than my next breath,
I must taste your kiss.
Tenderly your mouth,
Finds mine,
Caressing my lips,
Smooth silence,
Inhaling my soul,
I am swept away,
So soft,
So gentle,
Liquid satin,
A new moment,
A new world,
Our loves first kiss.

May I just say hi to all my family here at Passions. I have missed you all. Although my fiancee, that this was written about, and I are no longer together I shall never forget him. I pray that time will be my friend and that coming back home here will bring some sort of healing to me. I really wanna say a special thank you to Marge for encouraging me to post again. This poem was written when all was well and happy. I hope that someday soon I will be able to write again. Hugs to all, Juls

Hello Juliet,
I joined this big happy family while you were gone, and I love it here. I'm glad that you came back home, friend. (by the way, a friend of our sweet Marge's is a friend of mine, too
I hope that you stay with your family of friends here at Passions in Poetry. I know that you will be welcomed back and be encouraged, as I have been.
I loved your poem and hope that you will be able to post another one soon. I'll be looking forward to reading your poetry.
See you later, Juliet.....

Dearest Juliet,

I'm not good with words, but I really like your sweet reminisce. It takes a brave one to reminisce instead of wallowing in self-pity and hate. Many hugs here. You can do it!

Lots of Love

Welcome back! You are a wise woman to reach out to your old, and new, friends here at Pip at what must be a very difficult time for you.
This poem is so incredibly gentle and sweet. Perhaps, as you say, you will begin writing again. Sooner would be much better for you, and us!, than later! Pour your feeling out, let them flow--with no expectations of writing poetic masterpieces! Share with us, we'll listen and offer our support.

~ Sending you hugs and lots of loving pink  and healing green light

Marge, yes it was only fitting for you to have the first read and I am breathing. Breathing in the hope of new tomorrows and the freshness each day shall bring.

Kethry, it was so good to see you again. I am strong and even though I may be down I shall breathe out the sad and carry on.

Sue, thank you so much for your kind words.

Lonestar, that kiss was one I shall never forget.

Betty, I'm so pleased to know it brought back pleasant memories for you.

Ethal, your words truly touched my heart.

Michelle, I could never do anything but cherish such a wonderful man.

Earth Angel, the poem says it all, sweet and gentle.

Thank you to each and every one of you.
Hugs,
Juls

Juliet, This is a wonderfully warm and passionate piece. How well I remember my first kiss! All of us who have lost a special love know how you feel. I healed through writing. That was many years ago but I continue to write as I know you will too. Welcome back home...

P.S. I am looking forward to your next piece.

I know not what the new day will bring,
only that your memory lingers in the mist,
a warm light to help me on my way.
