the Abyss Again Standing on the crumbling edge listening to the cries below hidden in the serpintine fog. Awakened here on the edge sensing the edge of mortality as foot dislodges tumbling rock. Laughing from sheer terror that has become familar friend hundreds of times awakened here. Awakened not the real awake a false dreaming awakening once terrifying, unknown...now known. Knowing every inch and terror of this horrible, blood chilling edge of abyss never ending. Dreams so real, seems as real this place is real to me now after all these years of visits. Knowing there are hands reaching hands reaching for my help as the footing slips away. Knowing that there is no human help as calling out to my Savior really awakened as I fall... Tramp Poet: |

lol yeppers... can't you tell my favorite authors are E.A. Poe and C.S. Lewis? With a taste of Aspirn and Heinlien to offset the Stanley and King? Rather ecliptic, eh? Thank you for the comments, my friends... Tramp Poet: |
