I've peered into the crystal.
There were no dreams or visions
waiting within refraction of light
as the sun played, with twirl of hand,
upon the intricate cut of edge.
All I saw was the brilliant slice
of light, twist and turn in air.
A rainbow of color, there, afloat
upon the nothing of space, yet
displayed in twinkle, sparkle
cliche perhaps, but the light
it danced, and this was vision
enough for me. I felt no need
to delve deeper for fortune told.

I seemed to have missed this one earlier (as many other's must have) because it is very lovely. Captivating!

As one who used the crystal on occasion, I would say you have definitely captured the essence of it's inner and outer beauty in this piece. Very well penned, indeed!!!
