As colorful, as awe inspiring as this time of the year is.... it is also one of the most depressing times... Everything seems to be dying a slow, cold death. Autumn is such a grand season with it's colors and cool days but for many the changes bring such seasonal disorders. Hugs dear one ... I love how you used the changing and falling of the leaves to (apparently?) indicate the changing and falling away of feelings of one for another. So much in such a short poem. Wonderful Julie |

Dear Marge, Fall is my favorite time of the year. I think it is because of the color. I love green, but the golds, reds, and green are so vibrant and make me feel very alive, but that may be because I feel very much a child of Mother Earth.
