today's tide on the shores, across the borders of water wind and earth does not decide the pulse of the deep the skin upon an endless water heaves skyward, pulled by some celestial tendrils woven tight by the gravity of a distant rock but doesn't budge the body of the blue only those with homes on the shore the urchins, sculpins, crabs and coral, seaweed, starfish, and the rich will witness the twice daily dance, the infinite and rhythmic waltz that matters not to the larger life below |

I spent a good part of my childhood enthralled by the immense unseen and unknown of the deep. I wanted to see and to know. Now, I would settle for the seaweed and the starfish, rich or no, to be near it. This brought to me that old feeling of wonder. You definitely have favor with words blue. You have captured the sea and it's ways magnificently! My favorite place and where I feel the vast wonder of God's Love..Ellie A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

I have always been mesmerized by the constant rhythm of the sea. Reading your poem makes me feel like I'm there. Thanks for sharing! Debbie |

Ahh! The motion of the ocean. "We" matter not. Good poem. And welcome to the Pub. Melton |
