(Another children's story-poem for my niece) Amazing Amanda most beautiful girl, What will you wear today? A polka dot sweater And bell-bottomed pants would probably look okay. But… how about feathers, purple and green, To wear in a tall, pointed hat? A long orange skirt And red checkered shirt, I think you’d look great dressed like that! Amazing Amanda, most beautiful girl, Will you wear shiny rings on your toes? And a small, Teenie-Weenie Pink striped bikini And dinosaur bones in your nose? Perhaps you’d like flippers to wear just like slippers, A kangaroo coat would be neat Or how bout a tutu to wear to the zoo to And old moldy shoes for your feet? Amazing Amanda most beautiful girl, Will you wear seven braids in your hair? And a purse filled with candy would surely be dandy, And tasty to take anywhere! |

Thank-you Denise, Melton and David! The five little "Amanda" story-poems that I have written do have graphics included but they are not my own. My niece really enjoys reading little stories about herself! Writing easy little poems like this helps me wake up my muse! [This message has been edited by Romy (edited 06-08-2001).] |
