As the storm clouds ride the winds above,
My thoughts are on the one I love.
Although he seems so far from here,
In my heart I feel him near.
I have discovered to my surprise,
That love and trust aren't really lies.
How unreal it does all seem.
Like something from a distant dream.
Time spent together, it quickly flies.
Time spent apart, my soul does cry.
Drowning in love and hopelessly lost.
My life with him is worth the cost.
My world without him can never be,
For without him, there is no me.
He makes me smile, he dries my tears.
He holds me tight and stills my fears.
It seems I've learned from life's kick,
That true love is it's candle wick,
And once loves flame is burning bright,
Your darkest night is filled with light.

I have to say that if the love I share lasts only for a second, and is gone forever, it will have been worth it. They say every rose has its thorn, reality tells me that in order to know and hold the purest of love we must also know the depth of pain, one cannot exist without the other.

Kathy,this went right to the heart of me,can't tell you how much.Would be hard to find a better written testament to True Love.
