in the pouring rain

needles weaving through the hay
like fingers groping for something more
life has not much to say
for what it has in store

pens gliding across paper so smooth
as a thousand times have passed
it is stuck in its delicate groove
like its looking into glass

so stuck to its own reflection
familiar and lovingly touched
waiting till its own ressurection
missing all to much

stealing words from another
did anything for fame
stuck with writers block like other
poetry all the same
