Sometimes things are better left unsaid words not spoken left with questions only answered from the heart You know the answers as you wipe away my tears you heart beat plays a tune and that's all I need to hear a decade of lovers games we knew the end was near now you're gone a shadow of our love lingers in the recesses of my mind I call out your name in the night you are not there the smell of your cologne is the only thing that remains to remind me as I lay my weary head upon your pillow I fanatize~~~~pretending~~~~~wishing that things were better than they were the bad times now absent from my memory as if they never were playing with my emotions false memeories tugging at my heart tempting me to call would you answer? Do i dare? Can we go back? Change our minds? Is it that we enjoy this lovers game? No.... I must hold fast..... time has lost though we thought we had enough time left us time couldn't hold our love..... Julie :) |

When we remember it seems as though only the memories that touch our hearts seem to come to the surface, the ones that bite at our souls sink and are hard to reach...I understand your words and your feelings so deeply. I hope you find peace in remembering and healing in writing, thank you for sharing this piece~ |
