In the space between moments

0 posted 2000-06-28 12:38 PM

Daisies sleep 'neath lemon rays
Heads turned towards the sky...
Bathed within the wind's caress
Fledgling dreams do fly...

Lullabies of crystal blue
Harmonize with quiet streams...
Luscious blooms of sweetened rose
Waft on purpled beams...

An angel clad in silvered-white
Carries me on gentle wing...
Enswathed within his tender soul
My spirit softly sings...

September rains we dance within
And lay 'neath winter's cloud...
Caught within each other's arms
No darkness is allowed...

Spring begins at time's consent
But never did it leave our eyes...
For a perfect love between two souls
Never really dies...

Yes, I am here, but I am dead, not alive,
my body goes on, my spirit has died,
and I though alive, feel dead inside.

Krista~
If you didn't pen anything else -

'Daisies sleep 'neath lemon rays'

this would have been enough.

How lovely ... how lovely !

Such descriptive verses just seemed to trap me right thru this poem I had to read it once again.
~ For a perfect love between 2 souls never dies ~ this was such a sweet ending to a lovely poem.
