You Stole My Heart
~*Marge Tindal*~

You stole my heart
with just your smile
You took it
You kept it
all this while

It's not that I miss it
but I'd just like to know
do you intend to give it back
or is it yours forever ?

It beats just for you
So keep it if you must
The heart that you stole
beats only with your trust

Trust that you will keep it
safely from all harm
Tucked within your very own heart
covered with your charm

So, trusting that you like it
not questioning why
I won't even turn you in
to the F.B.I.

What I read between the lines speaks of the fact there is no crime,
The words almost shout,, you gave it away this time!...

Very Nice!

Is this your method of stealing other's hearts? Cos it working!!!!! Your words entwine and wrap themselves around my heart...then ya steal it!! That's the plot, isn't it?!!!
Love ya!

judging from all the hearts you have stole--
mine included-- it is you who should fear the FBI.  Loved it.

Marge~

These lines are awesome my friend.  They just say it all.  The FBI part made me smile, thank you.  Nice writing.

Great to see beautiful poems like this one.
I remember when I first came to Passions in January ... most of the poems here were so sad ... good to see the change ... and your poems have come a long way I think toward helping the mood swing to happen

Hell, yea, I stole your heart
I'm holding it for ransom
What else can some old varmint do
Who ain't too young or handsome?

Ain't never stole a heart before
I always been a loner
But, through your pomes, I wanted you
To be an organ donor!

So if ya want it back
A deal can be made.
What other body parts you got
That you would like to trade????

Once again Marge...very nice...

I love the time

the calm inside me
in the space
where I can breathe...

Appreciate the reply.

SEA~
I'm delighted to tickle you !

Rex~
LOL !  Well, I remember your first post -
'Love Beyond Perception' -
it was a tear-jerker !
I like to see a little humor too -
but the best thing about Passion's is the
variety of emotions on display.
I just love it all !

Eloise~
Thank you, hon.

Alle~
So glad to give you a smile.

Breathe~
I'm glad to see you and to share a grin.

Mike~
Thank you, my Kansas friend.

LittleCookie~
Welcome to Passion's.
Glad you enjoyed this.

Balladeer~
LOL !

For someone so handsome
I'd gladly pay the ransom
I'll make you a deal
that to you should appeal !

A winsome set of hips
or perhaps some luscious lips !
There's also a gorgeous set of gams
that carry around all that I am.

A variable shopping list of sorts
to greet your organ needs ..
but I just have to ask ya'
You aren't bartering for my
gluteus maximus ?  Are you ?

*Like I said ... we're nuts and
enjoying every minute of it !
Love ya'

That sounds like quite a package
Of satisfying treats
And I could get some snackage
Mileage out of all those sweets!

You are the Publix of my dreams
Quite worthy of my ballad
But gluteus maximus? To me that seems
Like something on a salad!!

yep, certifiably insane for sure

Balladeer~
If you've got 'gluteus maximus' on your salad - that probably explains that 'stuff' growing in your refrigerator ! ! !
Either that or you're in the wrong 'Diner' and it's the Tomaine Tavern !
You are such a pleasure !
You know I luv ya'

Paula~
Glad you enjoyed both the post and the humorous replies.
That Balladeer is a riot, is he not !
Stay tuned ... we play off of one another constantly.
