Silent Soul, I think we all feel this way at one time or another. It may help if you shared it with someone. The weight of it all is not so tremendous then. Very deep. Nice writing. I completely understand your view, I myself am the same way. Of course in time it is good to open up. I know it's good for me to have my time to think things out before everyone wants to give advice. Thank you for sharing. Poetry is healing to our souls and hearts. |

I feel like this too...and when the time is right and when I find the right person and within my terms I will share my hurt and I have many times and it is very soothing and cleansing to let it all out into the open. James |

I think there's a lot of pressure on teens now days and it's hard to cope. But one thing I have always found is that to write down on paper your feelings and try to make them come alive is as good a therapy as any. Just making those words live so others can appreciate them is a thrill to the soul. This is one of the main reasons people fellowship through this literary outlet. Keep up the writing - Great start! |

Oh Silent this one I can relate to all too well. When someone asks me what is wrong I ask them "why do you ask?" That usually shuts them up......but I have been there...I wear my emotions on my sleave as do most poets....chin up, you write very well!! Julie :) |
