Too Soon I remember yesterday, at times clearer than today, you were here then, but you could not stay. You were taken from me, so suddenly, it's still hard to think of you, as a memory. I feel you when, my shoulder you touch, to ease the pain, of missing you so much. When I walk, we walk together, I'm not alone, I'm of your feather. I love you mother, for telling me why, I understand now, I will not cry. Your earthly duties, came to a halt, you were chosen, to exalt. My time will come, you will be there, I'll be by your side, a peacefulness we will share. We all too soon, rise to the skies, to be with Our Lord, where He resides. ~Lorraine Nisbet~ A great poet is nothing more....than a discovered amateur |

The pain we experience when it comes their time to leave is indescribable. You have captured it well, Lorraine. This is a wonderful tribute to her. Denise |

Lorraine This is beautiful! Truly wonderful tribute to your mother! It was also sad and painful but I am glad to see you are healing. Take care. Amy "Don't be dismayed at goodbyes. A farewell is before you can meet again. And meeting again after a moment or a lifetime is certain for those who are friends." "Fate exists but it can only take you so far, Because once you're there It's up to you to make it happen." |
