No rainbow light of morning come,
no salmon sky, no thought undone-
nothing nothing
everything--
rhythm of your sleep I sing
and none can stop it now...

No welcome cloud,
no breeze betray,
no sway of palm,
no prayers I pray...
nothing nothing
everything
can make it any other way--
none can stop it now.

Not the gentle in your eyes
nor sadness
in the cling of sighs...
nothing nothing
everything--
beyond us--all is lies--
and none can stop it now...

This feels so powerful and so filled with emotions Serenity. Stunning expressions, you left me feeling almost panicky with the thoughts of a thundering freight train booming down the tracks with no breaks! Really well done!

Best wishes,
/Kit

"Nothing Nothing Everything"  I like this statement - the truth in the contradiction.  It reminds me of "nothing changes, nothing remains the same".

I picture this as the end of a relationship.  How close am I to the truth?

...but then again it could be the end of almost anything...

Thanks...

This was very intense to read!
Great job you did with this. I felt
like I was watching something about
to happen and nothing I could do.
Fantastic poem!
Take care.

*how long will I sit here unable to find the words*
you hold my heart in your hand with this one
my sweet twin...
I seem to be at a loss to adequately tell
you how this poem effects me...
but then I know...you already know
breathtaking and stunning
cuts deep ... to the bone ...

we cant stop the rain either me twin...
we would'nt even try ...
love you

serenity,

Not the gentle in your eyes

in the cling of sighs...
nothing nothing
everything--

and none can stop it now...

a powerful poem especially the last verse which hits really hard. intense and excellently written.

S'en,
Such as eloquent comparison of the lonely beauty of being awake to see the dawn, and the disappointments in our lives. Both are impossible to stop, and in hindsight (and sometimes during) things of inevitable wonder. Awesome as always, S'en.

Your rhythm finds its place here...very lyrical and lovely, sad, striking...

I almost cried.  I love it.  "None can stop it now"-- isn't that the truth.  Sometimes all the hope and prayers and sighs in the world can't stop what will happen.  Thanx for sharing such a beautiful poem.

Serenity there is a certain deepness to this that reaches in. Deep emotion, heck not sure how to describe it! It's unique and I for one really enjoyed reading this one. It stirs a person!
