Captivities Silent Control

I'm running through the halls
of my mind
knocking on all the doors
trying to find
the resourceful me being held
hostage within.

The rooms are void of sounds
I need screams
to help me find all my
inspiring dreams
lost in captivities silent control
of my reason.

The hallways end I've reached
or is it the beginning?
A never-ending circle is what it is
as I start grinning
a trapped mind running laps
passing by the answers.

VERY good work, Lost Dreamer. I can relate to this so well. (Reminded me of a saying-"I have gone out in search of my mind. If I return before I get back, please ask me to wait!")

I'm leaving the cat a note
Quick call me a ferry boat-getting out of town!
