The Memories Within My Tears Moments of the past flash through my mind, Forming a tear in my eye. Each salty teardrop is a part of my past, rolling down my cheeks caressed by a sigh. Memories so sweet fill my heart with sorrow, I long to live them once again. The sad melody of time's passing is the lullabye played on memory lane. The sands of time are shifting, Slipping between the fingers of my life. This beautiful world is mine only once, but I long to live it twice. Once for the joy of just living. Once for the joy of knowing, no matter where I travel my memories will be going. "Poetry is the true expression of my soul, it is my ultimate means of communication. It is my rainbow of delight." Life is wonderful and thank goodness we do have the memories to hold. I really liked this.....makes me sad that we can only relive our memories in our minds!! Sometimes I wish we could pick a memory and let it be forever in that moment in time to enjoy for all time!!
