I wrote this for the only woman I have ever truly loved, who fortunately is the one I now live with. It was written before we ever met in person. At the time we were simply names on a pc screen, voices on the phone having "met" only on the chat lines and spoken on the phone. This was written after only three weeks. That was over nine months ago. One Touch One touch One touch is all I need To fill the gap between Our lives And though I yearn for so much more I know can never be If but one finger of mine could reach yours Then that would suffice One tiny touch One moment One lifetime One desire Would never be enough in truth But would douse enough This fire That I could bear the ache That I could bear the pain Of the everlasting minutes Till I hear your voice Again One touch Not lips, though that would be ideal One single touch Of fingertips Would heal One touch Not hair, as much as I would like To run my fingers through it On a cold and windy night One touch Not breasts Not thighs Not hips All I ask One tiny touch One single Fingertip XtouchX |

I'm just so happy for you! Its great to see a happy ending. What a wonderful poem. You are indeed (as is your partner) very, very lucky. |
