Come to me my little one,
I know your all alone,
Loves forgotten hero,
Seed unwanted sown.

Shed no tear my little one,
For emptiness thats there,
Love you so much wanted,
No-one there to care.

Raise your head my little one,
Laugh when all is lost,
Offspring of loves dirty dream,
Whoever counts the cost.

But stay with me my little one,
And we shall have our day,
The beauty found in secret dreams,
They cant steal that away.

And when you wake my little one,
The day will come, its true,
When all the golden glories
Of earth will pass to you.

Olias

This reads beautifully...
almost musical in its tone.

'But stay with me my little one,
And we shall have our day,
The beauty found in secret dreams,
They can't steal that away'

Lovely - and true.

Welcome!

Hopefully no one will notice me bawling at my desk.  Oh well, thats what I get for taking a quick "poetry fix" while at work.

This is the sweetest, saddest poem.  I will definately look for more of your work.  I just can't say enough.

Very sweet and gentle-and musical, too.   Well done.

I can hear a lilting melody chiming along with the words, Olias.......
      It's so beautiful and comforting...

              Do you sing?

Paint your words upon the eager waiting canvas of my heart.....~Sunny1~

this reminds me of the poem "If" by Rudyard Kipling, which similarly lists out a list of advice from a father to his son....this piece has the same tender tone here...

esp like these lines:
the beauty found in secret dreams
they cant steal that away

when all the golden glories
of earth will pass to you

Belated welcome to passions!!

Glad I finally caught up with this one, it was worth the wait. A beautiful and wonderful entry to passions.

Come to me my little one,
I know your all alone,
Loves forgotten hero,
Seed unwanted sown.
