Tidal Wave Of Emotion ~*Marge Tindal*~ You won't know love until you've cried an ocean of tears until a tidal wave of emotion has picked you up slamming you on the shore time and time again then receded leaving you lying there helpless and alone You will know love when the waves gently lap at your toes teasing you pleasing you inviting you to take the plunge again ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

I love this Marge! I know the feeling of being slamed against the shore all to well. Take care!< !signature--> God grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can, and the wisdom to know it's me. ~Unknown [This message has been edited by EagleOne (edited 06-20-2000).] |

Those emotions are so strong they are like great tidal waves. What a great metaphor to describe these deep rooted waves of love we ride on to the crest until that tidal wave sweeps us to shore again.....Great poem! |

Marge~ Your words wash over my heart like a tidal wave. This so beautiful. I just love the hope at the end of it all....sigh. Great writing here my friend. This was great, Marge! It can be so scary to take the plunge again. But those who let fear bind them are left standing on the shore alone. Better to take the risk and jump in with both feet...He who hesitates is lost. Wonderful work!! --You can either take me as I am...or you can watch me as I go.-- |

I thought that I knew love But it must have been a fake. I didn't cry an ocean It was only just a lake. Then I was sure that I knew love And all it could deliver But once again I erred Because I only cried a river. I have cried creeks and ponds and such Due to misplaced emotion But I have never had the chance To cry an entire ocean. I've always hoped that someday true love Might happen along But now I see I have no chance... My tear ducts ain't that strong!! |

ETHome~ Thanks for catching the wave of emotion. LoneWolf~ Your heart plays in the surf .... awash with love. TennesseeAngel~ Let's go to the beach ! ButterfliesDC~ What a sweet reply. Thank you. Gemini~ Ahhhhh ... but the lifeguard is on duty. Thank you, hon. Balladeer~ You can cry me a river Cry me a lake How many teardrops does it take ? If your little heart is really in a muddle ... You can cry me a teensy little puddle. You can 'cry me a river cry me a river I'd cry a river over you !' Love ya' .... ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Oh how true these words of yours Marge Emotions are like a huge tidal wave, we go crashing down and we are in pieces yet we pick them up and start all over not knowing when the next wave is going to hit. Tracie~ Love is the life of the soul... It is the harmony of the universe |

Marge... as usual, there is nothing I can say that hasn't been said twice now, but this is truly beautiful. So much truth, short and to the point and filled with wisdom. Excellent Strive for higher levels, if they seem out of reach... Grow, and they will get closer. |
