Denise, a rose, a flower so pretty, Inside a garden of plenty, Her heart of love, she gives so freely, comments made so friendly, She post her replies, with caring eyes, to every poets poem, To she her smile, lights up her face, An angel in this place, She is a friend, So nice and sweet, Her poetry a treat, So I write of Denise, To show my appreciation, this rose is not a carnation, But beautiful is she, Outside and in, Blessed to have her as a friend!!!! ( I have always noticed how Denise replies to my poems and others and I just wanted to thank her!!!) |

Wow! Thank you so much for this beautiful poem, Millette! You are so sweet! I haven't been around too much and have just seen this now. I'm back to work and not quite used to the daily grind. I hope to be back up to speed shortly. Thanks again for such a lovely sentiment! Denise |
