I went into the Men's Room And entered into the stall, And there had a revelation-- Seen the "Handwritting on the wall"! I came to do my business But what is this I see Glarring from this cubilce With it's crude words to me? And as if that weren't enough Strange drawings did illustrate, Certian anatonmical parts As if they were so great. I somehow feel violated Yes, this I tell you now, For I have seen the handwrittings- Anonymous messages on the wall. I've seen the words of Hatred Intended to create waves, And to the opposite extreme I'm reminded that "Jesus saves!" And if I want a good time Call Jill after six, or if I'd want to have a gay old time Then I should seek out "Slick," I don't think I'll be "stalling" I've seen quite enough of this, Besides I'm now so flustered- Did I come in to poop or piss? But I've come to the conclusion After witnessing this spectacle, In more than one way, this place stinks Thanks to the Handwirtting on the wall! |

uuhh...All I can say is thanks for the mental picture! LOL! Nothing can deter a poet, for he is actuated by pure love. Who can predict his comings and goings? "Thoreau" |

aw yes been a student I am very familiar with the graffiti in toilets. I have seen lots of it and only one or two were actually funny. I think my favourite is, probably misquoting this, "definition of an intellectual, someone who hears the William Tell overture and does not think of the lone ranger." Really pretentious and just bizarre. really enjoyed your poem. ------------------------ "Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time". Baltimore Grotto "To be nobody-but-yourself-in a world which is doing its best night and day, to make you everybody else - means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting." E.E Cummings. "Art is a lie which makes us realise the truth." Pablo Picasso "We Irish are too poetical to be poets, we are a nation of brilliant failures" Oscar Wilde ----- |
