the earth, gentle majestic powerful calm from roaring rivers to gentle streams mountain tops and forests green man, gentle majestic powerful calm from wallstreet to homeless men the suburbs and queens they've come to destroy this great earth that took millions of years to create yet the earth still loves us has no fear struggling weeping with despair it absorbs the garbage we lay at it's feet takes no notice of the cars on the street doesn't care if we're late has plenty of time it will wait we tell our selves this is true when it's gone what will we do? |

At first just the name caughtme, out of curiosity. You happen to have the same name as a very dear relative of mine. She writes poetry very similar to yours. I had to comment. this was a really good reminder of being good stewards of what God has given us..a beautiful earth....if everyone could raise their children to care, we'd be a whole lot farther along in this fight to keep earth clean and pure  good'un girl! ~Heather |
